How to install the package in sharepoint 2010

Here are the steps for the Adding the webpart in sharepoint

Open the power shell for Microsoft sharepoint by Start > Program > Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 Products > Microsoft sharepoint Management shell

Add-SPSolution C:\YourFolder\SampleWebPart.wsp
 
Follow the following step
  • Open the Administration Panel 
  • Click on the system settings option 
  • Click on Manage Farms Solution under Farm Management 
  • Click on the  SampleWebPart.wsp
  • Deploy
How to Display the webpart under the site collection webpart list.
  • Open your site collection
  • Click on site Actions
  • Click on site settings
  • Click on Webparts under Galleries Section 
  • Click on the Documents in the top ribbon bar 
  • Click on New Document 
  • Click on the check box of the webpart 
  • Click on populate gallery 
Then go to the page and deploy the webpart in to the page
